Sterilizing filtration


Technofilter produces a wide range of sterilizing filters in the form of standard filter cartridges and HYPERLINK  capsules for liquids and gases with various membrane materials:


- Polyamide (Nylon) is characterized by high productivity and wide chemical compatibility as a membrane material for HYPERLINK filters EPMK - / 020


- Polyamide (Nylon) with Z-potential as membrane material for HYPERLINK filters EPMK + / -020 for sterilizing filtration of liquid media with control of pyrogenicity.


- polyethersulfone has wide chemical compatibility (pH = 1-14), high heat resistance and throughput, low sorption with respect to proteins, enzymes and proteins. The pronounced asymmetric structure and the increased total porosity of the membrane ensure reliable removal of microorganisms at high flow rates using HYPERLINK filter elements EPM-PS-020


- polytetrafluoroethylene - hydrophobic membrane, specially developed for sterilizing filtration of air, compressed gases and hydrophobic liquids in HYPERLINK filter elements EPM.F4-020


- polypropylene - a special hydrophobic membrane made of PP, developed for the filtration of gas media and non-aqueous solutions of EPMP-020 grade.



Prefiltration and clarification


Prefilters "Technofilter" have a different design and materials:



EPMK is a prefilter with a polyamide membrane


EPMK - prefilter with polyamide membrane with a layer of fiberglass


EPMMS - a prefilter with a membrane of polyethersulfone


EPM.FG is a prefilter with a membrane of hydrophilized fluoroplastic (PVDF)


EPMF is a prefilter with a membrane of hydrophobic fluoroplastic (PTFE + PVDF)




EPVg.P is a corrugated universal polypropylene filter of increased density


EPVS is a corrugated filter of 100% microglass fiber


EPVC is a corrugated filter made of glass, cellulose and polypropylene microfibers


EPNS.P - corrugated all-metal filter made of stainless steel for the filtration of steam, corrosive liquids and gases


EPSC - corrugated stainless steel filter for the processes of preliminary filtration of high-viscosity media and highly contaminated solutions




Filters integrity monitoring


The integrity of the filters and biological safety is controlled through the determination of diffusion, bubble point and pressure drop, and for hydrophobic materials - a water intrusion test. The results of these tests are correlated with the Bacteria Challenge Test.
